The 2016 New Europe 100: five Lithuanians among the top Eastern and Central European innovators

The 2016 New Europe 100, the third annual list of central and eastern Europe’s brightest and best people, includes five Lithuanians: Daumantas Dvilinskas, co-founder of TransferGo, an online money transfer service, Martynas Gudonavičius, Chief Executive and co-founder of TRAFI, an app helping urban commuters to plan journeys, Vaidas Adomauskas, Chief Executive and co-founder of WoraPay, a platform enabling payment by mobile phones in stores, Ruslanas Irzikevicius, founder of the portal Lithuania Tribune, Vytenis Bužas, Founder of NanoAvionics, an aerospace technologies company providing small satellite services. 
 
This is the third annual list of Central and Eastern Europe’s brightest and best people and organisations that bring the change in regional environment as regards the societies, politics or businesses, offering innovative, entrepreneurial and fresh approach to prevailing problems. The aim is to strengthen the standing of the innovators from emerging European countries in the world, and provide them with possibilities of interaction.
 
The list of Central and Eastern Europe’s brightest and best people has been drawn up since 2014. Last year, it included two Lithuanians: Paulius Vertelka,  CEO of Infobalt and Ilya Zudinas, CEO of social network Plage **.

The logo of the Celebration of the Centennial of Lithuania's Restoration is an original creation by UAB New Agency, protected by the Law of the Republic of Lithuania on Copyright and Related Rights, and its copyright, with all economic and moral rights resulting thereof, is an exclusive ownership of the Office of the Government of the Republic of Lithuania.

The exploitation of the entire/partial work or its copy reproduced in any form or by any means, or the reproduction of the work for commercial purposes shall be prohibited unless prior written consent is granted by the Office of the Government of the Republic of Lithuania. To obtain the permission for the use of the logo of the Celebration of the Centenary of the Restoration of Lithuania’s Independence, please contact the Office of the Government of the Republic of Lithuania by e-mail: simtmetis@lietuva.lt.

The logo of the Celebration of the Centennial of Lithuania's Restoration shall not be used for advertising and promoting alcohol, tobacco, gambling and rapid credit, as well as other advertising having adverse effects on minors. Nor shall the logo of the Celebration of the Centennial of Lithuania's Restoration be used in cases discrediting the logo or bringing detriment to the image of the Celebration of the Centennial of Lithuania's Restoration.
