EURES is the European Employment Service. Its mission is to ensure the free movement of workers within the European Economic Area. The consultants provide free consultations regarding the work abroad, inform about job vacancies, help to write applications, curriculum vitae (CV). EURES services are available to employers looking for workers abroad.
European Employment Service database compiles and regularly updates information on living and working and learning conditions, education and living costs, legislation, tax systems in different countries.
To make use of the EURES services one does not need not be registered with the Labour Exchange. Lithuania has ten offices operating across the country; they are located in the county centres of local labour exchange offices.
