Lithuanian musician G. Gelgotas at Chamber Music America Conference
Chamber Music America‘s 34th Annual Conference held on 13-15 January in New York saw the performance of Lithuanian composer Gediminas Gelgotas. The Annual Conference brings together the largest U.S. music management and publishing companies, including German-U.S. music publishing company Peermusic, which represents Gediminas Gelgotas.
Gediminas Gelgotas signed a contract with this company back in 2010 and since then the company has published the composer's sheet music, and represented him in the global music market.
The company representing the composer at this Conference is trying to conclude agreements with major U.S. companies, which should lead to wider promotion of the composer and his group NI & Co in the U.S. music world.
On January 25th, Gelgotas will perform his music at the National Philharmonic Hall in Vilnius, where along with the minimalistic music of A. Part and T. Riley, the NI & Co. will play Gediminas Gelgotas’s "Echoes for a thousand years to come", "Never Ignore the Cosmic Ocean", and "Non-robotized 21, Freedom.
