Europe's largest Christmas tree in Vilnius
As every year, on Sunday, the largest Christmas tree in Europe – the TV tower – was lit up in Vilnius. It was wrapped up in 32 garlands with the total length of 6 km.
Six thousand light bulbs and 400 powerful flashes have been used to decorate the tree. The fireworks marked the beginning of the lighting ceremony.
Vilnius TV tower was decorated as the Christmas tree for the first time back in 2000, and since then it has been made into a tradition.
