Vilnius leads the world by Internet speed, Kaunas is the fourth
When it comes to Internet speed, no one questions Eastern Europe’s domination in this regard. The Net Index show that half of the top ten cities with the highest data download speeds belong to Eastern Europe.
Average download speed in the world is 9.43 megabits per second (Mbps), to compare with 31.52 Mbps in Lithuania, which is recognized as the country offering the highest Internet speed.
