A Lithuanian girl to sing an official Olympic theme song
Another young Lithuanian is making her way onto the international stage. 14-year-old Ema Bagužaitė from Šiauliai will sing an Olympic theme song at the first Winter Youth Olympic Games to be held in January 2012 in Austria (Innsbruck). The song “This Is Our Time” was written specially for the girl’s 14th birthday by two German composers, but Emma herself came up with the topic for the lyrics.
