This year's awards ceremony has been arranged differently than usual. On 6 January, the National Opera invited everybody to Operos Švyturiai Gala Concert with a bouquet of last year's Awards winners, the best National Opera and Ballet Opera soloists, and the Symphony Orchestra conducted by Robertas Šervenikas.

Sigutė Stonytė and Vaidas Vyšniauskas have reaped the major awards, while Kipras Chlebinskas has been awarded for the star debut of the year. The other two performers awarded for their merits on the ballet stage have been Olga Konošenko and Martinas Rimeikis.
