Canoe sprinters Raimundas Labuckas, and Tomas Gadeikis become world champions
On Sunday, Raimundas Labuckas and Tomas Gadeikis of Lithuania won the gold medal in men's C2 200 meters race of the Canoe Sprint World Championships in Szeged, Hungary, and became world champions for the third time in a row.
Raimundas Labuckas and Tomas Gadeikis easily won the qualifying passage and immediately got into the final.
The Lithuanians made the final distance in 37.101 seconds, being 0.312 seconds ahead of the Russians Viktor Melantjev and Nikolai Lipkin.
Belarussians Dmitry Rebchenka and Alexander Vovchecky won the bronze medal, being 0.498 seconds behind the Lithuanians.
